Not sure about ring sizes? Try this simple method to determine an accurate size:
- Cut a piece of string or a strip of paper (if you are using paper, it should be no wider than .25 inches).
Wrap the string or paper strip around the base of your ring finger.
- Mark the string or paper where it overlaps to form a complete circle.
- Use a ruler to measure the length of the section of string or paper where it overlaps around the finger.
- Compare your measurement with the chart below to determine your ring size.
Note:
- If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, you should measure the knuckle as described above as well as the base of the finger and pick a size somewhere in between. This should give you a good idea of your ring size.
- If your measurement is somewhere in between sizes, it's generally better to round up to the larger size.
